The final days are coming in which we get to introduce our new album, “||| D” set to release tomorrow, marking a significant milestone for our group. Led by the visionary producer and writer, Fo, every aspect of this album reflects a year's worth of experiences and emotions carefully woven into each track.

Despite being well past our 40s, we found ourselves drawn to the allure of music and the pure joy it brings. Straying away from the traditional confines of hip-hop, our sound has evolved into something unique, transcending genres and embracing a futuristic appeal. Incorporating the revolutionary Akai MP3, our music is a fusion of visionary beats and resonant melodies.

Our trio, consisting of Fo, Ke, and Flea, found its roots back in our college days at ECU in 1995. It was only now that we felt the time was ripe to create an album that resonated with our collective vision. Spanning across continents, the mix and mastering for our album took place in both HOTC Studios in Greensboro, NC and Wavefront Studios in Munich, Germany. This collaboration, despite the distance, added an eclectic touch to our music, reflecting the diversity of our influences. Throughout the process, we learned a crucial lesson:

age is never a barrier to creativity. With technology bridging gaps, we discovered the power of unity, collaboration, and perseverance.

Our music is not just for the masses; it's a personal ode to our journey, a legacy we wish to share with our loved ones. This album stands as a testament to the timeless pursuit of creativity, a key to eternal youth. Join us as we unveil ||| D and celebrate the music perhaps still left in you. Life is full of positive and negative segments, but there's one thing that's a constant, - music. When things get heavy and times are rough, it's the vibrations of beats that can help foster our moods through it. With our new Album ||| D about to be on Spotify, it's time to break it down and let you know how music kept us going strong.

Our music ain't just a bunch of sounds crafted on the Akai MPC, though that's where the magic happens. The American Music Therapy Association (AMTA) has laid it down - music is the real deal when it comes to helping veterans dealing with the heavy weight of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Picture this: veterans getting in sync, vibing to group drumming sessions, and throwing down some freestyle flows. Before you know it, they're finding their rhythm, facing stress head-on, and living life to the fullest.

Our journey was kinda like that too. Three college buddies, Fo, Ke, and (me) Flea, graduated from East Carolina University way back in the day. Then we got tossed into the whirlwind of life like everyone else.

We kept the bond alive, spitting freestyles and sharing pieces of our lives through our verses and voice messages on FB messenger.

A decade down the line, it hit us - we had an album right there. So, Fo dusted off his Akai MPC and got to work, pouring our experiences into every beat and rhyme, creating an album that's gonna be our legacy, speaking to everyone who's been through it. Life's not easy for anyone, no matter how "perfect" it may seem from the outside.

Putting this album together was therapeutic, even in the midst of chaos and the sweetest moments of life. And speaking of life, I even became a parent during this journey - but that's a whole different story! Our music is more than just vibes; it's a movement, a journey that's all about finding that inner strength and the healing power of music. Find your rhythm. - ||| D

In the vast expanse of the musical horizon, where every note and rhythm holds a tale, emerges the emblematic narrative of ||| D.

||| D is the name of our revolutionary music group and also the title of the album. We used the KISS method. (Keep it simple stupid). The simplicity of the name, allows us to paint a canvas of various meanings to ||| D, such 3rd dimension, three dimensions, three descendants, and even three dudes, —serves as a testament to the versatile genius behind this ensemble. See we can be what we feel at that time, pretty much how the world works at the moment.

This specific art piece was actually proposed to be the album cover but as we evolved over time and with creativity we found that a logo/name would be more suitable. But, like the most profound pieces of art, this piece we like to call "Silhouettes of Music" is layered in its significance.

The artwork unpacked shows the following: ||| D believes that music, with its vast and enchanting realms, has long been a canvas for tales of camaraderie, style evolution, and cultural tales. Among the myriad of ways to represent music's essence, the silhouette stands out, as a powerful and evocative symbol. The image, rich in contrasts, depicts three entities Fo, Ke, and Flea, each distinct in stance and style, set against the timeless backdrop of the pyramids. The figures and their setting resonate deeply with the theme of unity and diversity, capturing the essence of camaraderie.

But with the current state of rap and hip-hop, we found how we have been disconnected or have no connection or want no connection but want to be connected.

Essentially entities like us have become the silhouettes of hip-hop.

In short "WE OLD".

But nevertheless, it helps us to find our voice, our own unique beats, and style.

The shadowed forms of Fo, Ke, and Flea rise distinctively against the monumental pyramids—symbols of eternity. Each silhouette, though shrouded in mystery, speaks volumes, representing the musical diversities they hail from and the singular rhythm they create when united. Their very stance, oscillating between modern allure and ageless grace, narrates the tale of music's ever-evolving style. Yet, the unyielding backdrop of the pyramids is a gentle reminder:
